By October 19, 2018Local Life

TL;DR – Disturbing images ahead.

Does Halloween creep the living lights out of you? Sometimes I can’t understand why we pay good money to scare ourselves when 51 missed calls from your Mom will probably achieve the same effect but if you’re into this scare fest tradition, then here are some places you should check out soon.

1) Cathay Horror Haunt – The Curse of Amityville

Happening 18-21 October at Cathay Cineleisure and 25-28 October at The Cathay, you can be prepared to have the fright of your life. Featuring Hollywood’s most sinister and terrifying characters based on the infamous real-life Amityville horror house, this maze is definitely not for the fainthearted. To enter the iconic house, simply present a same-day receipt with a minimum spending of $5 from Cathay Mall or a ticket stub from Cathay Cineplexes. Alternatively, you can pay $10 to enter the horror grounds.

The first 80 people per day who can miraculously escape and survive The Curse of Amityville will win gift vouchers from merchants of Cathay Malls.

2) Halloween Horror Nights 8

Notice how nights is appended with ‘s’? Well, you are going to have nightmares for many many nights for sure. With 5 haunted houses as well as 5 scare zones, be prepared to scream your lungs out as trained scarers might pounce on you anytime. For laser tag enthusiasts, there is also a Zombie Laser Tag at one of the scare zones.
