Häagen-Dazs Japan launches fairytale-inspired ice cream flavours

TL;DR – It’s time for story time.

Just when we thought that ice cream can’t get any more magical, Häagen-Dazs Japan simply has to outdo things.

The ice cream brand recently announced the launch of a brand new series titled Story Time, which like the name suggests, is inspired by the world of popular fairytale stories.

The first flavour is Snow White’s Apple with Custard which comprises smooth custard ice cream and small apple pieces, which are said to replicate the texture of the real fruit.  Glossy red apple sauce and a milk-flavored heart pattern complete the ice cream.

The other flavor is inspired by the mad tea party in Alice in Wonderland. Called Alice’s Tea with Cookies, this flavour features Darjeeling-Mascarpone ice cream mixed with butter cookie bits for extra crunch. It’s then decorated with milk sauce and pink hearts.

Both ice cream will be available in stores across Japan on 2 October. Can’t wait!
