TL;DR – From where I stand.

If you love drinking, why not enjoy a view with it? After all, Singapore has a slew of nightspots that offer some of the finest views of our city’s magnificent skyline.

These are our favourites:

1. Kinki Restaurant and Bar

via

Kinki Rooftop Bar markets itself as an edgy urban Japanese dining and bar, so everything from the raw concrete floors to the urban murals on the wall is impeccably decorated. The exposed pipes, hanging light fittings and blackened ceilings exude an industrial chic vibe. Marrying the flavours of East and West, the signature dishes like the Kinki Style Okonomiyaki and Foie Gras Scallop Sushi are a hit amongst the young crowd. Overlooking the views across the Marina Bay, the open-air timber deck is a perfect place to chill out over some after work drinks.

Address: 70 Collyer Quay #02-02 Customs House, Singapore 049323
Opening Hours: Mon – Fri: 12pm – 2:30pm; Mon – Sat: 6pm – 10:30pm

2. Lantern

via

What could be better than craft cocktails by starlight? Perched atop the Fullerton Bay Hotel is the elegant and stylish rooftop bar Lantern, where you can soak up the sea breeze and panoramic views of the Marina Bay waterfront while sipping on Latin American-inspired concoctions. With a gorgeous 25-metre blue-tiled pool nestled in a lush tropical setting, this place is particularly great for groups, as it has a number of large tables set up lounge-style. Or if you feel like having a private moment, there are cushioned sun-beds and lazy private cabanas where you can relax to the vibrant beats of the live Cuban house band. On special occasions like National Day, this bar promises you a front seat of the most spectacular views of fireworks.
