Sweet Valley High is becoming a movie

By September 17, 2017Entertainment

TL;DR – Remember the Wakefield twins?

Almost every girl who grew up in the 80s and 90s will be familiar with identical twins Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield who attend Sweet Valley High in California, USA.

The series which started in 1983 by Francine with 603 books to its name chronicles the life of the twins and their friends at – you guessed it – Sweet Valley High, through boyfriends, heartbreaks, friendship troubles and just about everything typical teenagers experience.

Some 20 years later, Paramount Pictures has announced that they have hired Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and Harper Dill to adapt the books into a movie. Smith has written Legally Blonde, 10 Things I Hate About You, She’s the Man and House Bunny, so I think we can expect a pretty good chick flick out of this Sweet Valley movie.

Can’t wait!
