Singaporeans show the true meaning of kampong spirit on Straits Times Facebook Page

TL;DR – It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no… It’s ST-Man!

I quote the great Forrest Gump, “Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”

This has gotten especially true with clickbait articles online these days. You just have no idea what kind of (lousy) articles you might end up with despite the intriguing title. As much as our good friend Mark Zuckerberg and his team at Facebook has announced that they are cracking down on clickbait articles since last August, things are still far from perfect.

This happened earlier today.

Pretty much self-explanatory from the screenshot above. Basically, if you are not a paid subscriber of ST online, you only get 15 free articles per month.

We might have read a lot of articles saying how cold and unhelpful Singaporeans are but this was proven wrong. A new hero was born, and I would like to call him ST-Man if I may. We took matters into our own hands.

Joy to the world

And what does ST have to say about it?

What a way to start Monday.
