TL;DR – Now I can’t stop thinking about nasi lemak.
If you’re wondering what Duterte’s doing in Singapore, well, we don’t have the full schedule of his two-day state visit BUT we do know what he had for lunch today.
For those who are unfamiliar with The Coconut Club, the two-year-old restaurant at Ann Siang Hill specialises in its $12.80 Nasi Lemak & Cendol ($3.80).
And is usually already very crowded before the Philippine President’s visit.
If you’re like us DYING to have nasi lemak now after reading this post, here are 22 other nasi lemak stalls you can check out. My personal favourite’s Punggol Nasi Lemak – but go to their main outlet at Upper Serangoon Road. The Tanjong Katong branch’s kinda disappointing.
And oh, looks like President Duterte also got to enjoy some durians after lunch!
In case anyone’s wondering about what we served President Duterte yesterday, check it out here.
