TL; DR – Swoon, baby, swoon.
National swimmer Joseph Schooling just won the men’s 100m butterfly event at the Longhorns Elite Invite meet in Austin, Texas, this morning (Saturday, 4 June 2016), finishing ahead of decorated Olympian Michael Phelps.
Schooling’s in Lane 3.
The 20-year-old is one of Singapore’s biggest Olympic hopes for the Aug 5-21 Rio de Janeiro Games. In the 28th SEA Games in Singapore in 2015, Schooling took part in 9 events, won first place to bag 9 golds and broke 9 Games records. Talk about overachieving.
This part-man, part-dolphin homegrown talent needs no introduction. But if you happen to live under a rock and have no idea who he is, just check out his pics:
Bet Phelps didn’t know this little twerp will grow up to school him…
