The Rio Olympics organizers are giving out enough condoms for each athlete to have sex 84 times. According to Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo, in the interest of equality and variety, 100,000 of those will be female condoms, and 175,000 lubricant sachets will also be available.

2) Man seen hitting and kicking dog on camera 🙁

A man was caught on camera hitting, kicking and lifting a dog by its leash. The The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) has been notified and is currently investing it as a case of alleged animal abuse. (More)

3) Foreign worker publishes book of poems

He started by scribbling poetry on bags of cement and today, Bangladeshi construction worker Md Mukul Hossine has published a book titled Me Migrant where he hopes to convey the perspective of the foreign worker and also keep hold of what is dear to himself. (More)

Well, sorta. Not exactly broken but with a casing that has “disintegrated”. It also seems like it’s a thing in Parliament to be wearing Casio.
