Starbucks stores in Asia (this means Singapore too!) have just launched three new flavours on Feb 20 and the most exciting has got to be the colour-changing Butterfly Pea Lemonade Cold Brew.
According to Starbucks, the Butterfly Pea Lemonade Cold Brew coffee is “a mesmerising hue of blue Butterfly Pea flower tea layered with refreshing lemonade and topped with deliciously smooth Starbucks Cold Brew coffee”. The drink features butterfly pea flower tea – a trending ingredient in Southeast Asia, which is distinct for its natural blue shade and color-changing properties and it reacts with the lemonade to create captivating swirls. This iced beverage starts out with an ombre look and changes colors as the you sip and stir it.
Two other flavours have also been launched.
The Macadamia Cocoa Cappuccino is described as a flavorful twist on Starbucks classic Cappuccino as it enhances the bold espresso taste with rich macadamia chocolate sauce and creamy milk foam. This beverage is topped with a swirl of nutty chocolate sauce and a crumble of macadamia nuts and graham crackers for added crunch and is available both hot and iced.
A customer favorite, the Tahitian Vanilla macchiato is back on the menu again! This drink infuses velvety steamed milk with aromatic, caramelly Tahitian vanilla syrup, topped with Starbucks Signature Espresso and is finished with vanilla bean specks and vanilla drizzle in a classic double crosshatch pattern. Available hot and iced!
