Tiger Beer commemorates NS50 with limited edited t-shirt

TL;DR – Limited edition t-shirt. Beer sold separately.

Homegrown brands Tiger Beer and SBTG have collaborated to unite two distinctively Singaporean elements – National Service and Tiger Beer – in SBTG’s distinct militia-inspired style to commemorate 50 years of National Service.

For the uninitiated, SBTG is a local brand headed by artist Mark Ong. If you are into the whole “hypebeast” culture, this name should not be a stranger to you.

“Tiger Beer and National Service bind and bring back fond memories for many of our servicemen. We are delighted to collaborate with our very own local designer, Mark Ong, to commemorate 50 years of National Service. We felt that Mark was the ideal artist for this project, uncaging the values represented by Tiger Beer and SBTG through design and art. As we enter a new chapter of National Service in Singapore, Tiger Beer is proud to go the mile with our servicemen and be part of many more special memories in the years to come.”

– Venus Teoh, Marketing Director, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore

Of course, we all remember those nights we spent at the camp mess drinking discounted beers with our brothers-in-arms. I can’t agree more that these two are a pair made in heaven.

Starting from 1 October onwards, you will stand a chance to redeem this limited-edition t-shirt (with custom-designed box) by purchasing a bucket of the recently launched Tiger Black or Tiger White at https://uncagetheunexpected.com/#/create.
