That incident that led to SMRT being fined a total of $250,000 for the two breaches in 2010 and 2011?

The 2011 culprits were never caught and much has been forgotten about them over the past five years, until this video, that is.

Titled PROBATION VACATION: LOST IN ASIA (Episode 5 – Singapore), the self-released video chronicles that night as two Americans who go by the pseudonyms Utah and Ether and have been identified as Jim Harper and Danielle Bremner broke into Bishan Depot…

And vandalised said train.

(The background music is pretty catchy by the way.)

It also appears that the duo had vandalised trains in several other Asian countries such as Thailand, India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Turkey, Japan and South Korea.

And the rest of the series here.

Harper was arrested in Melbourne, Australia two months ago on charges related to vandalism and assault and sentenced to six months jail. Bremner is still at large.

In a statement to The Straits Times, the Singapore police says they are currently working with the Australian authorities “to facilitate investigations into the case of vandalism reported at Bishan MRT depot in August 2011.”
