TL;DR – Always thought that salads are just about plain boring vegetables? Think again.
I LOVE salads! How each bowl can be such a unique mix of ingredients, textures and flavours put together and how they can make you feel pretty good about yourself (even though it might just be placebo haha…) If you’ve always thought that salads are just about bland leafy greens tossed together, here are some of my favourites that will make you change your mind.
1) Aloha Poke
Essentially a Hawaiian salad, Poké (pronounced “Poh-Kay”) comprises of seasoned Ahi (Tuna) tossed with toasted sesame seeds, sweet onions and scallions and served with rice and/or salad. Aloha Poke serves up 3 flavours – Original, Spicy and my favourite Wasabi Mayo.

4) O’Coffee Club
The Wasabi Prawn Salad from O’Coffee Club is my go-to when I’m in town and need to get a quick and light lunch. The prawns are often cooked just right and pack a good punch of spiciness from the wasabi that goes really well with the mesclun greens.

Too many stores in Singapore to list, you know where to find them.
I used to live in Thailand and can get a tad fussy about the Thai food I get in Singapore. So far, I’ve found ParaThai to be as good as what I can get in Bangkok and I LOVE their som tum or green papaya salad. Fun fact – my Thai friends often tell me that it’s their secret to staying slim 😛
